For two years, when I was in high school, I owned a website called emohen.net. I've recently been looking to buy another domain for myself, for all my projects plus photo hosting and any other junk I absolutely have to have this second. On a whim I checked if emohen was available.
I am now the (re)owner of my old domain! I am beyond thrilled about this. I'm going to work with the front page a bit and will be putting something small together over my Holiday. If I have the time, I'm going to try my hand at installing Word Press. If that proves to be too difficult, I'll just use Greymatter. I've got plenty of experience with that one. Eesh, is that even still around?
It's a 24 hour wait with GoDaddy (The company I use - they rocked four years ago, let's hope they haven't started to suck recently.) before the account goes active. Just enough time to get a setup ready! So much for packing, cleaning and wrapping gifts tonight...
While I was switching around my multiple Wordpress accounts to sit on one Dashboard, I ran across this amusing article on the joys of coding HTML.
I remember years ago, when I first started coding my own HTML, Notepad was the program to use (or claim to use). There were 'Made in Notepad' buttons you could add to your page, and it was proclaimed proudly on FAQs. I was envious and forced myself to learn everything I could so that I could get away from on-site WYSIWYG editors.Making more work for yourself is not cool. Being counter productive is not cool. Using Notepad for some sort of warped credibility does not make you cool. Notepad is not and never will be a productive environment to code web sites. [Read More]
Then, I discovered MS Front Page and said, 'Fuck it.' While I can certainly div align and build tables all day long, img src'ing and a href'ing is about as far as I need to go these days. THANK GOD.

UPDATE: As of 9 a.m. PST Friday, investigators said they were narrowing their search to Oregon's Highway 38 as the family's most probable route to their destination of Gold Beach. The Kims last spoke to an innkeeper there by phone about five hours before they planned to arrive.
Oh Calvin, how can I keep loving you when you hurt me this way? Think of the football team. :'(
Although I think the whole false compartment thing is pretty damn cool.Police say they found the rapper in possession of cocaine, a firearm and a large amount of marijuana. He was also cited for allegedly having a false compartment in his vehicle.
Embittered and lonely at work today, I signed up for one month of Fark Personals, marking the first time in my dating history that I've actually paid for the privilege. $22-something, and my goddamn photo isn't even approved yet.
Oh, what have I done?
Forgive me, but America should not give a hoot what Keith Ellison's favorite book is. Insofar as a member of Congress taking an oath to serve America and uphold its values is concerned, America is interested in only one book, the Bible.
Americans, not Dennis Prager, decide what book or books they're interested in. And, if I may comment upon this:
STFU.He should not be allowed to do so -- not because of any American hostility to the Koran, but because the act undermines American civilization.
When I'm too busy with work and school to visit my cocaine dealer, I throw back a few No-Doz with a pot of coffee and wait for the rush. Doesn't everyone? Is that so bad?
